Modesty is not only about covering up in your attire.  It actually goes beyond that of superficial things. 

Modesty is about being humble.  To be humble, you try and not draw attention to yourself and your acheivements or abiltiies.  Being humble should not confused with low self esteem.  There is a fine line between those two characteristics and it is very difficult to obtain. 

Modesty is about moderation.  "Moderation?!?" you say.  Yes.  Moderation.  Moderation in size, scale, or extent.  Example: You don't always need to plan a grand vacation.  A modest one will do.  Just a quite time on a lake, watching the sun rise and set… nothing better than that!

What does modesty mean to you?  Is it only about clothing and dressing properly?  I'd love to hear about it!
