It's a powerful word that conjures up the idea of women dressed immodestly– and yet it's also a powerful keyword and describes, succintly, what the current culture believes women (and to some degree men) should be.

Should people that strive to be modest use that word with all of its context?

To me, there are two ways of describing a way a woman looks– "sexy" and "pretty" and they show how the man thinks of the woman.

"Sexy" describes the way a woman appeals to a man sexually, whereas "pretty/attractive" is something that is modest, but appealing.

Should we encourage "sexy"– encouraging lust?  Desire I can see, and wanting a man to want you physically I can understand, but is the fact that we can use this to describe something private/intimate, mean that we've gone too far?
