Why is it that people like Britney or Miley start out as someone that some look up to and end up going the route of immodesty when they get older?  Do you buy the line that they're trying to forge an adult figure?

To me, it seems more plausible that they've always been the way they are now, they've just been controlling themselves to meet the target market early on.  I mean, eventually who you are on the inside will come out.
