The truth is, a high slit looks modest while a girl is standing up, but when she sits down her whole leg can be exposed.

If you remember, one of the things that I've said about modesty and the male mind is that the guy's eyes are trained to look for and to see things that aren't supposed to be seen. Slits that are too high invite that attention and opportunity.

Foy: Not to mention the fact that if she moved her legs apart, who knows what could be seen. It's apparently a common practice now to not wear undergarments with fancy dresses – if a woman did that with this dress, a wardrobe malfunction may occur quite easily.

Erin: What else can I add? The heels, the slit…In the wrong part of town, she'd be mistaken for a different sort of lady.

Your Turn…

I think she wanted to be "seen", with a long slit up dress like this you can even sit modestly, if you care and want to, but why would she…

Sorry, I'm not english, so please excuse my grammatic & and any mistakes. Thanks. If something is totally out of sense or wrong I would appreciate any "correction":-)

Good point– I believe she thinks that she has a "great body" and wants to flaunt it.

I don't know, I think people who have no self-worth, self-esteem problems or don't like themselves “show off” their body to get attention or self-worth or self-esteem. I think there is always more behind the story, past hurts, hurt feelings, no friends….

Edit: misspellings
