Anna09, I think you're totally right– and it's hard even in QRs to make sure that we don't let a good look influence the review.  In fact, it has to be part– if it's a "sexy" look that covers, it's still immodest.  If it's a cute look that's at the borderline, it's still borderline.

There is that subjective quality that Foy talked about so eloquently in his post the other day.

Isn't it more stress to get the fashion “look” correct than to be modest?

Good point! I would say YES! It is more stressful to try and be fashionable than modest. For me anyway,

Probably. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to current fashions. Sure I notice them, of course I know they are there. And if one really catches my eye & I like it, I will try and see if I can wear it modestly. But I don't follow fashion really close,  so I am probably not the girl to be asking that. Laugh

Ahh onto excuses. One of the biggest ones is probably laziness. It takes effort to dress yourself modestly. You can't just go out and wear anything and everything you see. You have to be willing to take some time to look for modest clothes, improvise, be creative.

I know that "But its hot out!!" is such an overused excuse, but even I find myself tempted to use it in the Summer.

And of course "Well guys should control themselves better". How sad and selfish for us ladies to say. That we would rather look good than help our brothers.
