Hey I really like long skirts because I want to be modest and not be provocative. It's hard to find long, modest skirts I can afford.

I agree with you!  I've found some really nice, modest skirts only to check the price & see $89 or something crazy!  Here's a couple of suggestions of places that I've found skirts at a decent price!

1. Cato (This place is awesome!!  Lots of modest skirts that are $20 full price & much cheaper when on clearance!)

2. Christopher & Banks (Not always cheap but again, I've found some bargains on clearance racks.)

3. Khol's

4. Macy's

5. T.J. Maxx or Marshalls

6. J.C. Penny

Hope this helps you!

Oh, I just thought of something else that might interest you, "Modesty Convert"!!  Check into consignment stores in your area!  There is a Clothes Mentor in my town that sells gently used name brand clothing, shoes, accessories, & purses.  I've found some very nice classy items at a good price!  They sometimes even have sales or coupons too.  They have stores in quite a few states if I remember correctly.

Another consignment store that is a chain is Plato's Closet.  They cater more to teens/young adults but it's worth a try!

Yes, I went to Plato's Closet and it was quite good (like you said, many of the clothes are more junior in style or size, though). I like many goodwills and thrift stores, too, but some are better than others. Really my favorite place to shop, because there are clothes of all brand names for much cheaper prices!

I usually shop at thrift stores and Goodwill but I think I might save up some money to get a skirt from Cato. ( There's one 30 minutes away from me, and my mom likes buying her skirts from there .)
