Chadwicks is one of my favorite stores for finding clothing for my wife. The clothing comes as advertised and the styles are always up to date. Since they’re a bigger store they often rotate products in and out. The neck forms a V-shape, yet is modest enough that it isn’t revealing.   The skirt of the dress comes mid-knee and the overall fit appears loose and not tight! You could match a variety of different belts with this dress to change the look up a bit if you would like.

The model in the picture is wearing pink colored shoes, however I wou prefer a black or brown colored sandal to add color to the otherwise monotonous style.

The  color of the dress allows you to play around with a variety of accessories in different colors and or prints!  Have fun!

I love how this tiered cotton dress is simple yet, stylish and can be dressed or dressed down with a variety of accessories and colors!

Notice the beaded detail on this cowgirl hat!

Instead of a feather in your hat, why not your ears?!  These layered teal feathered earrings would look cute with the vivid blue tiered layered dress!

Want to add some fun to the neck of the dress?   Dress is up with this open circle Y necklace made from wooden circles to keep with the western-like theme!

Are bangles more your style?  Brown and gold bangles would go great with the dress as well if you prefer to go with a more dressier look!

Belts around dresses and shirts seem to be an on going fashion trend. I like the detail of this wide tooled waist belt, it matches the cowgirl hat and would add a stylish pop against the vivid blue of the dress!

It’s summer-time and sandals are more comfortable to wear, compared to heels or boots that is why I choose this pair of double buckle T- strap sandals!  Cute, comfortable and functional!

My first thought is, “My, this dress isn’t doing much for her.”  This dress removes some definition of her form, which is normally something that we’re looking for when it comes to modesty, but she’s also a woman, and we come to expect a little more definition.

Putting that aside, the tiers do well to attract attention.  The top is fine as are the sleeves.

What do you think of this dress—I’m sure it’s modest, maybe I just don’t like the style?

This could be a great layering piece—I mean, that’s a really good use for cami’s and tanks.

However, this cami has two things working against it:

1. Length: It looks as if this cami sits nicely on the top of the jeans when her arms are down, but I bet a belly button might play peek-a-boo should she raise her arms.
2. Depth: It looks as this is pretty low cut.  Now there is mention that the straps are adjustable, so that means you might be able to raise it, but that just exacerbates  problem number one, as you’ve made the item shorter.

Camisoles are great layers, but you need to find ones that are long enough—unless you have a long enough outer layer.

Here’s a smart looking blazer that has some great features.  This blazer is short sleeved, but more than covers the shoulders.  It is closed by two hidden buttons.

The blazer gets its name from the pleats that come across at the waist to form a pretty pattern.

I think it’s quite versatile!

It comes in a variety of colors, and gives a more dressy look to any outfit.

This square neck sweater is interesting.  I think that it’s depth is appropriate, and the color’s nice, but there are three things that I think you need to be aware of:

1. The funny twist in the middle definitely caught my eye/attention—as did the large ban on the top of the front and the lines going off from there.
2. It looks like it’s a little tight.
3. I don’t think that the length is good, meaning that she’d expose her midriff if she raised her arms.

#3 is a problem for many tops, in that you can see more than you think in different poses.

Do you find that you have clothing with problems like these, or are you able to avoid them?

This dress has a hidden, added benefit—it’s designed to help trim your tummy and other areas to help your shape—of course I’m not sure how well that works on this model.

The nice part of this dress is that it’s a decent length (just covering the knee on this model), it has cap sleeves and it comes in three different colors/styles.

The top isn’t a V-Neck (surprise!), but it could be a little lower than you might be comfortable depending on your body, so play accordingly.

Otherwise, this is a pretty dress that doesn’t scream “sexy” as much as it says “pretty” and so would be a good choice if you’re looking for something in the $40 range on sale.

This is a really good looking party dress, which only really needs one thing to make it modest—some kind of layering for the top.

The color red is attractive, and can cause attention, so you may want to opt for the black alternative, though this shade of red is better than “Candy Apple Red”.  The dress hits the knee, and that’s fine.

There is a back vent, so you’re going to see how high that vent goes and prepare accordingly.

Other than that, this dress is $20 off at Chadwicks, so if it’s interesting to you, it might be a good time to buy!

The Knot Front Knit Dress is in the Women’s Career Dress section of Chadwicks, and I really like the “Colbalt” color.

The straps are nice and wide, though the dress bares the shoulders, which may be a problem for some.

The length is good, covering the knee on this model which might mean it’s a bit longer on other’s sizes (25 1/4” from natural waist).

The fact that the material gathers makes it so that it doesn’t look tight and looks free flowing.

The biggest issue, for me, is the neck line, which would be quite revealing bent over, or from above, but that could be cured with a cami or other layering.

First,  the sleeves are very feminine at the top (flutter sleeve) while being short, they are airy.

Second, the length of this dress cannot be beat.  It’s down to the lower calf and that’s great as far as modesty goes.

The V-Neck could be a problem, depending on how far down the V goes, and the fact that some do not like the V at all.

However, both of these problems could be remedied by a cami or other layering device underneath—unless you’re simply wearing it around the home.

The Goddess Drape Dress has 3/4 sleeves, covers the knees and has a high neckline.  Wow, I covered that review in one sentence…  now what do I do?

This dress is machine washable, and has a hidden side zipper.  It comes in two colors at the time of this writing.

On this model, the color is good, and it appears as all one piece.  It hangs off her shoulders, and looks like there’s extra fabric on the one side.

The only thing that could be longer is skirt portion—just covering the knee means a little extra effort when in motion, but this would even pass at Bob Jones University because it covers the knee.

What are your thoughts?

However, the Faux didn’t stop this dress from having a very low neckline.  True, in this photo you do not see anything, but unless this was tight enough to be immodest, any bending would show everything, and many consider this deep of a v-neck to be immodest.

The length, however, is terrific, and I have no problems with the waistline.  The pose seems a bit interesting?

I would think that if you wanted to be modest wearing this dress you would need some kind of upper layer or insert to fix the V, and then you’d be good to go.

The Sleeveless Sheath pictured right is a good example of a what could be considered a “little black dress” except that this one would also be pretty modest.

Other than the fact that this is sleeveless, so the shoulders are shown, the holes for the arms are high, the neckline is high, and the dress comes down to the knees.

And that would be my only problem—the length is a little short on this model, so that means extra care would need to be taken when sitting and getting up.  Other than that, I’m having a hard time finding any problem with this dress.
