Having watched football for the first time in a while the other night as Tim Tebow and the Broncos lost to Tom Brady and the Patriots, I can say I didn’t even notice the pants that the players were wearing.  Did you?

Do you feel the same way?

Why is it that there are so many bikinis in stores anyway?  And have you noticed that there’s very little difference between the bikini section and the lingerie section?

Here’s a good one!  This comic is known for the wisdom of its kids and it has a cute comment about one of the girl’s older sister:

I always find it amusing to consider what was considered indecent exposure in times past and what we’ll accept today.  In the beginning of the last century, a woman was arrested on the beach for exposing her elbows and knees in a bathing suit.  Today, the question is “how much can I charge for the least amount of material.

This Arlo & Janis comic highlights this exact point in a round-a-bout way:

Why is it that women have accepted showing more of their bodies to men?  Why is it that they have allowed themselves to be objectified instead of showing off the inner beauty?

When I try to put on some clothing that doesn’t fit, I take it back off and put it aside.  When women put on clothing that they like that doesn’t fit, they’ll lay down on the bed, use stretching tools, and see whatever way they can squeeze in.

One would think that women really like to torture themselves—in times past it was corsets, today it’s jeans.

In any case, tight clothing can leave nothing to the imagination:

While this is great for her husband, Arlo, Janis should consider a different sweater when she goes to leave the house.

The local fire department is trying to raise money, and they decided to do it with a calendar—one of the firefighters, including Brad’s girlfriend, Tony.  The comic strip Luann looks like it doesn’t see anything wrong, but then it had this set a little while later…

So, tell me the difference among the following words:

• Ogling
• Admiring
• Lusting

And that is the problem.  We can use other words to describe lust, but changing the language does nothing but put “lipstick on a pig.”
