Happy Fourth of July—We’re Taking a Break!

The fourth of July is a great time of year—it’s a time to remember the people that are fighting to protect our freedoms.  A time to be with family and eat outside.  A time to watch fireworks!

For my family, this time of year marks a special event that happened 10 years ago this Thursday.  It was on Saturday, July 7, 2001 when my wife and I got married in a little church and embarked on our life together.

So, in celebration of that time, Is This Modest will be taking a break off for a couple of weeks.  We’ll probably do some things behind the scenes, write some posts so we’re a little more consistent on the other side, and launch the July skirt giveaway, but there will be no day-to-day posting until we get things in order.
