Knot Front Knit Dress

The Knot Front Knit Dress is in the Women’s Career Dress section of Chadwicks, and I really like the “Colbalt” color.

The straps are nice and wide, though the dress bares the shoulders, which may be a problem for some.

The length is good, covering the knee on this model which might mean it’s a bit longer on other’s sizes (25 1/4” from natural waist).

The fact that the material gathers makes it so that it doesn’t look tight and looks free flowing.

The biggest issue, for me, is the neck line, which would be quite revealing bent over, or from above, but that could be cured with a cami or other layering.

I'm a 35 year old guy married to the most beautiful woman in the world (VirtuousBlonde) for 10 years, and has 4 mostly adorable children-- depending on whether they've had a nap, of course. Actually on this dress, the style and depth of the v is conducive to a quick trip to the tailor. I’ve had people bring in dresses with similar necklines to be stitched up a bit to create a very shallow v. It works quite well, and would eliminate the need for a cami in this situation.
As far as the shoulders go, I personally don’t have a problem with it as long as the arm holes are small enough to not show off undergarments.
    The color is mouthwatering.

I don’t know if I’ve ever used a tailor, thought they say that they can let some space out of pants when your waistline’s expanding (‘course I’m working to change that phenomenon). Mouthwatering is a great adjective– I couldn’t agree more!

Fabulous color and the cut of the skirt is quite lovely. Next time I’m shopping I’ll have to keep my eye out for something in this color. I wonder if it’s one of “mine.” (?)
I’m not a fan of the knot–draws your eye too quickly in my opinion.

I like the “flare” of the skirt…not clingy, looks nice on almost shape. But I’ve got an issue with that type of knot in bossom area…(looks like a light to medium weight knit)…if a girl is not wearing a thicker weight bra…or what they call a T-shirt bra…the fabric on this dress is very revealing. If I had this dress I would get a cute bolero sweater to wear, to cover the arms and chest area.
