Faux Wrap DressThe “Faux” in Faux-Wrap dress means that it’s not actually a wrap—I know, you probably already knew that.  What that means to modesty is that a true wrap has all sorts of potential to be immodest as the part that wraps can make things loose enough to see things that shouldn’t be seen during certain kinds of activity.

However, the Faux didn’t stop this dress from having a very low neckline.  True, in this photo you do not see anything, but unless this was tight enough to be immodest, any bending would show everything, and many consider this deep of a v-neck to be immodest.

The length, however, is terrific, and I have no problems with the waistline.  The pose seems a bit interesting?

I would think that if you wanted to be modest wearing this dress you would need some kind of upper layer or insert to fix the V, and then you’d be good to go.

  1. Thats really cute! Nothing a tank top wouldn’t fix!

The advantage of a true wrap is that it can be tightened if it’s too loose.

Also, wouldn’t a tank top be a bit wrinkly under such a drapy knit?

I’d go for a half tank with this to ensure that it doesn’t end up wrinkly and weird underneath the dress. The length is fine, and I do like the chocolate brown.
