ConeyIsland

This 100% cotton dress has some interesting features.

The neckline is the first thing that caught my eye, for it seems to come out and away from the top, which doesn’t seem to be an issue because the neckline is high.

There is a belt that right below the bust that servers to accentuate the waistline as well as give definition to the top of the dress.

The hemline falls just above the knee on this model—which the retailer notes that if this is too short for you, they will ship you a new one for free, which is quite cool.

What do you think of the color?

I'm a 35 year old guy married to the most beautiful woman in the world (VirtuousBlonde) for 10 years, and has 5 mostly adorable children-- depending on whether they've had a nap, of course. I'm a software developer by trade, though I like to write on various topics. I got my start in blogging at MInTheGap in 2004 writing about culture, politics and got started talking about modesty on this site just 3 years ago.

I love the color and the portrait neckline, but I’m not so crazy about the belt under the bust. It’s not really immodest, just strange…

    …And too ruffly.

The color is beautiful, but looks a bit too purple-and-pink for my ideal. But then people have different ideals.

  3. Elizabeth says:

The belt under the bust may or may not be a problem for me since I am small busted. The color is not something I would like to wear but I love the neckline!

I think the color is AH-MAZING! I’m not crazy about the look/fit of the bodice. But one can’t complain about the sleeves being too short. At least not in my opinion!

  5. Erin says:

She looks scary. The dress is a pretty color. Yes, the sleeves are decent too.

  6. Chrs says:

She looks like an art student. They are, in fact, scary.
