What’s that?  You think that we forgot the July giveaway!?

Have no fear gentle reader, we did not.  But to win this giveaway you’re going to have to really work at it.

This week we’re going to comment counts.  That’s right, to win, you’ll have to be the lady with the most comments before the end of the month.

The Rules

How does this work?  Simple.

For every comment that you leave that’s at least 3 sentences long, you get a point.  You may post comments on any post made this month, but you must have one comment from someone else between your comment.

Comments written prior to this posting do not count.

And the comments must be posted on this blog.

To reiterate:

  • Comments posted on this blog.
  • Comment must have at least one comment from another author in between your comment.
  • Comments must be 3 sentences in length.
  • Comments must be on a post written this month.
  • The one who has the most comments before the end of this month wins.

I'm a 35 year old guy married to the most beautiful woman in the world (VirtuousBlonde) for 10 years, and has 4 mostly adorable children-- depending on whether they've had a nap, of course. I'm a software developer by trade, though I like to write on various topics. I got my start in blogging at MInTheGap in 2004 writing about culture, politics and got started talking about modesty on this site just 2 years ago.

    Oh, this sounds fun!
    The three sentance part might be hard..
    But I guess it is a good way to encourage longer comments. =)

      As you so elegantly showed, it’s actually not that difficult to write three sentences… :)

      However, you’re not limited to just posting here, you can leave comments that count on any post that went live this month so long as it was written after 8:00 AM EST today and before the end of the month. And you have to have someone else’s comment in between (to keep people from just commenting over and over to get points. :)

    Yay! Another chance to win a skirt from NCA! I also like the creativity of making people leave comments on other posts to win. :) Even so, I’m still going to post to my blog that y’all are doing this, even tho’ that doesn’t gain me an entry. ;) I really like this site, so I try to get people to check it out. Hmmm, I think that’s about 3 sentences by now. =)
