In an attempt to better understand modesty, modest behavior, and modest dress, I am going to be doing a series on diffrent standards of modesty. We will explore standards of modesty from diffrent religious standpoint: Christian, Jewish, & Islam. We will also have a look at how time and culture has affected standards of modesty.
From the “dress code” of modesty to the way a modest women presents herself, and even modest talk, not one rock will remain unturned as we take a journey into discovering the roots of different standards of modesty.

That’s the trouble with modesty. There just aren’t many exact standards set down in scripture for us to go by. It’s hard to say for sure what is modest and what is not. But who knows, maybe there’s more than I think. One to the next article. :)
I’m not sure that it’s really a problem. Why? Because there’s freedom in Christ. What we see mostly is boundaries rather than dictates, and within boundaries there is freedom.
Yes! more articles on modesty. These sound like they will be very interesting. I’m sure I will read things I haven’t thought of before.
