Scarf Style #6: Cowhitch

Lovely name, eh? But that’s what this style is. Fold your scarf in half before putting it around your neck this time, and then pull the open ends (in front) through the loop of the closed end—which is really the middle of the scarf. Voila: a cowhitch knot. Around your neck.

This style is superb for a low neckline, because—like the Loopedy-Do—the main area of the scarf is concentrated more around your neck and neckline instead of having a little bit up there and then the rest dangling down to where, as pretty as it may be, you don’t really need it. It helps you get the most out of your scarf’s volume. (Does that make sense?)

The Cowhitch will help with just about any low neckline problem I can think of. Play with it and enjoy!
