Scarf Style #3: Aviator

This one isn’t as generic as the last couple in my opinion—I’ve never worn it for a long period of time because I always feel like the ends are sliding off of my shoulder. That can easily be fixed with a pin, though—and not everybody has six brothers to scurry after. :-D Anyways, I see the Aviator working well with a dress that only covers one shoulder—maybe the “Tarzan” look, or something like Anna Popplewell wore at the Narnia premier (see here.)

It won’t do much for low necklines or low backs, but it will help fill up space if you’re feeling bare up top—I think I may have mentioned in a previous article that sometimes even if the shirt/blouse or dress isn’t horribly low, it might show a lot of shoulder skin, and you need something more up there. Mess around with it—see if you can combine it with another style, and let me know what you come up with!
