Is This Modest?
justagirl4god: I know this has been discussed before, but why is it that many women feel that it is okay to show lots of pregnant belly in everyday situations? I realize that it is a special time, but really… Bare bellies should be confined to the photography studio!
MInTheGap: Pregnancy– it’s a beautiful time, with a new life growing inside his mother’s womb. The mom’s body is going through all kinds of changes, and it’s neat to see! It’s really awkward to display these pictures however. We’re conditioned to think that this display is other than “natural” so the pregnant belly and seeing what amounts to a bra on this woman is not bad for her and her husband, but I would think twice before hanging it on my living room wall or sending it out in birth announcements. Keep it personal and remember the time.
