Is This Modest?
justagirl4god: This outfit is actually modest in my opinion – but it’s the pose that is not so much in my books. The dress has a nice, high neckline, is a good length, and the stockings/tights add warmth and help stop the underwear-exposed-to-the-world issue. The pose though seems a bit ‘oo, look at me, I’m so awesome’. But the outfit is modest.
MInTheGap: The hemline of this skirt is right on the border for me. I generally say that it should be below the knee. The neckline is fine, but it does look a tad translucent and a bit tight. That could be because of the pose.

I tend to disagree the pose is a tad too immodest. I tend to judge immodesty from the looks of the face. In this photo, this lady is smiling and not those provocative looks from Celvin Klein’s commercial shoots. Also, the skirt length is quite decent and acceptable, though I agree another inch longer will be better.

1) her pose, although she isn’t wearing a come hither look on her face, is all about flaunting her assets sexually. She’s thrusting forward and backward and her leg bent out like that…just like a Vicki’s model without the pouty face.
2) skirt length is debatable. i personally prefer just below the knee cap, however it could pass as is without generating too many unwanted stares.
3) it’s tight and it looks to be a knit, not a woven fabric. anything you wear under it, every roll, bulge, etc will show.
it would look modest on a stick thin, average to just below average height woman. anyone who’s a little plumper and/or taller would start to cross the line.
