Is This Modest?
MInTheGap: Although the pose here is strange, the outfit does not seem to be immodest. The green top more than covers and it is not tight (notice the bagginess on the arms) and it is vibrant in color.
Foy: It is a very strange pose. Bending over is a very difficult thing to do modestly – if you bend at the waist, the chest “hangs”, and is an extreme viewing temptation for almost all men. If you need to pick something up, scrunch up your knees and scooch – don’t bend at the waist.
Regarding the clothes: very modest! Get’s a five from me!

I don’t think she’s really bending over that much. It looks to me like she is squatting on her toes with an arm bent backward to keep herself from falling backward, which is why she is leaning forward.
Also, you’re right, bending at the waist is a bad idea, but that is also because it hurts your back if you pick heavy things up. Bending the knees is so much better for the back.
I agree that it is a modest outfit. :)
I always thought that bending at the knees was MORE awkward. It takes much longer than simply bending at the waist. The connotation it carries of “good posture” makes the pose more awkward, if anything, because it is practiced most often by older women.
I think guys should also squat down, rather than bend, when they pick stuff up. Some girls are really into seeing guys’ backsides, wouldn’t want to tempt anyone!
