Is This Modest
MInTheGap: I love the lacework on the arms– it’s so pretty and feminine. In fact, I believe that this is a very beautiful dress. Except, it goes down way too far in the front. Great for her husband, mind you. Just not modest for the rest of the viewing eyes at the wedding.
Foy: That’s why she has flowers MInTheGap! Kind of like the infamous purses from “Glimpsed by the Baltimore Sun” pictures.

If you had a cami or something like that under it would the v-neck still be a problem?

Some under layer would definitely fix the modesty issue, but the patter and the lace are definitely meant to make this very feminine.
My guess is that it would be better to have the front altered than to have it layered.
Wow, that front is REALLY low…
Maybe a lacy cami would work under it. It would have to be something in “special occasion” fabric though- definitely not cotton or jersey fabric.
Love the dress. But yow, really low in the front!! Thats sad.
