Don’t want to go to the Prom?

Don’t have a date, don’t have the money to spend on a dress, or just plain don’t want to go to the prom? You are not alone! There are many people who graduated High School quite happily without ever attending a formal dance! I am one of them. They just never interested me. It all seemed like a lot of drama and peer pressure.
Don’t feel odd or pressured to go if you don’t desire to! Why not instead plan a special event with your best girlfriends instead! Usually at the High School age boyfriends come and go but I to this day, some 15 years later, am still good friends with some of my girlfriends from High School.

Here are some ideas:
*Take a trip to an amusement park – Scream on all the roller coasters together!
*Stay overnight at a Bed & Breakfast – chat, reminisce, and laugh together!
*Have a Bonfire – roast marshmallows, talk about some of your best memories of the year!
*Go to a spa – relax and get pampered together!
*Have a girls night on the town – go to your favorite restaurant and catch a movie.
*Go to a concert together.
*Plan and do a mega scavenger hunt!
*Have a makeover night – have all your girlfriends bring their makeup and give one another a makeover and take before and after pictures.

Whatever you do have fun! You can create a very special memory by just getting together the friends that mean the most to you. There needn’t be much money involved. Just value your time together and take lots of pictures!
