Eliza Giveaway
Have you ever heard of Eliza Magazine? It’s a quarterly fashion magazine that emphasizes modesty.
Well, we’ve been contacted by them, and they’re willing to give two subscriptions to the readers of Is This Modest, but you’re going to have to win them!
Here’s how it will work:

Hi! Love the website! Hoping to get this! I now follow the shirt rule! I sent in for a sample subscription, but they haven’t sent it yet… this is the second time I’ve sent it in so I’m hoping they’ll send it! My mom said its the last time we’re sending it in! (BOOHOO!!) So thought I’d try for this and try to get it that way!

~I would have put the button on my blog, but I couldn’t get it to work. Actually, the photos of the button and other banners won’t even show up on this site for me.
Try replacing the curly quotes with straight ” s. Have to figure out what’s changing those “s and fix it.
I tried that and it still didn’t work. Thanks anyway. :-)

I have been subscribed using Google Reader for a long time, I’ve commented on forums and posts here (a lot! lol), and I’ve also referred people to you (see link).(http://youthofeternity.wordpress.com/2009/04/06/female-modesty-modestys-effect/#comment-677)
BTW, that magazine cover, for a “modest” magazine, is distracting. There is a triple effect in that- a scoop neck, a v in it, AND the color contrast is definitely drawing attention to that area, at least for me.

Perhaps “points” were the wrong term? Each “point” is an entry in the contest. The more “points”/”entries” the better your chance of winning.

I’ll have to look into this. I love having things to stick in a my car or purse to read at odd times, but have learned that most magazine content is not something I want entering my mind. I’m excited to hear about a exception to that rule.
Just wanted to say that I love your blog…I am 20 and in college and find it very helpful to have such awesome resources like this blog and related blogs that value and encourage modesty, especially after spending time at college where modesty is quite rare. This blog has been such a help! I am very grateful for the time and hard work spent. Thanks!
