Is This Modest?

Erin: I think the jeans are a bit tight, especially on top. However other than that, I think it’s nice!

MInTheGap: This girl has really thin legs. I’m going modest, because though the jeans may be a little tight, I still see them wrinkling, and I’m guessing that she’d swim in anything bigger.

A wife to my handsome man and mama to my little man. I spend my days fixing meals and cuddling. I live in the cold, cold north, where there are four seasons: almost snow, lots of snow, more snow, and the two days of summer. I love the subject of modesty, but am dissapointed that there seems to be so little of it in today's clothing. Maybe this will be my very small way of helping to bring it back.

I wonder why so many of the women you find in these QR’s wear high heels… Don’t get me wrong- I wear high heels, but rarely, not in what appears to be ‘everyday’ situations in these photos.

I think those are just wrinkling because they’re stretch denim. They also don’t fit amazingly well; the back yoke is too high in combination with the forwardness of the side seams.

my opinion? Top half is classy. Bottom, too tight. Trouser jeans are the way to go, especially when going for a dressier denim look.

I don’t understand the validity of the “wrinkling” comment… With all due respect, what difference does it make if the jeans happen to be wrinkling if I can still see the exact shape of her thighs and underside of her butt? Every woman has her “body things” she has to deal with that make dressing modestly difficult, and if this woman’s is small legs, that still doesn’t make the jeans modest. (I mean this in the nicest possible way, truly!)
