My husband and I (and our entire family) do all of our shopping together and I always tell my kids to look on the other side of the aisle where the candy and trinkets are! And as my husband helps unload the cart, I am busy turning around all the worst magazines (while people behind me are giving me funny looks). I haven't noticed the backs to be worse. Usually they advertise a car or something not repulsive, from my experience. I've never noticed a family friendly line, but that would be nice here. I'm sure a petition could be started to stores (i.e. Wal*Mart) that don't provide covers for offensive magazines. I was in the supermarket the other day thinking just about the same thing-- and what to do about it. I hate going with my brothers because of this...it makes me feel so bad for my bro's.
