Men Are Visual
Since a lot of modesty has to do with men and how they see things, and being the resident male at this blog, I thought I’d take the opportunity to see if I can give you a glimpse into the mind of the guy and help you to understand what’s modest and what is not.
To do this, I’m starting a series this week that will ask and try to answer some questions about what guys see, what they look at and why. If you have a question, leave a comment here or contact me and I’ll try to address it in the series.

What do guys think of makeup?
Is it appreciated or something they dislike? Can a woman appear too seductive when wearing dark eyeshadow or mascara?

I’d like to know at what point does a v-neck top (or any top for that matter) become too low? I guess I kind-of figured that sometimes even if it didn’t *snow anything* it could still be immodest, but I’m not sure where the line is…
Also, can really long hair (like below mid-back) be a stumbling-block?
I concur. Is a neckline just “immodest” at the point that it is in bad taste (where it looks out of proportion with the face)?
What do guys think about minis over pants, leggings,…?
What do guys think when things are layerd, (are they noticing the layers or only the “inmodest” piece)?
(How) Can you talk,write and see pictures about modesty without beeing tempted?
Some people reason, if you “used” to see woman inmodest after a while you don’t notice it anymore or don’t care, your mind is not “spinning” anymore & you aren’t tempted. Is this just a good excuse or truth?

I prayed/wished for people who care about modesty, website like this, board,… for years…
There aren’t many Christians around me, who are thinking what the bible has to say about dressing…so I hope it’s not to personal
Where ist the temptation (Maybe yo’ve got a better word, maybe men are not always tempted but “irritated”/”embarrassed”) bigger with people you know (eg relatives, good friends,people you see everyday)or people you don’t know(eg celebrities)?
Do you see/feel a diffrence beween trashy and just slighty inmodest and what is about women who just reaveling a bit to “seduce” or to get attention or even to leave the rest to your imagination?
