Felt With the Heart

For many, beauty is something that is entirely superficial.  It’s something that we can see, judge, and something that will one-day fade.

Beauty is something that attracts us, it’s something that man pursue, and yet true beauty comes not from the outside, but from the inside.  It’s not something we see directly, it’s something that is much deeper.

What I believe that Keller is reminding us with this quote is that there are things inherently beautiful that can only be felt with the heart.  Joy comes from the inside, not from looking at the outside.

I'm a 35 year old guy married to the most beautiful woman in the world (VirtuousBlonde) for 10 years, and has 5 mostly adorable children-- depending on whether they've had a nap, of course.
